Update: 4:15 p.m. local time

Update: 3 p.m. local time
Taking a fresh look at Carcavelos, Deputy Commissioner Jessi Miley-Dyer has called the Cascais Women's Pro off for the day. The next call for the EDP Billabong Pro Cascais is at 4:15 p.m. for a possible start at 4:30 p.m. If the event is called on, Heats 5 and 6 of Round Four will run.
Earlier in the day, amid small-scale surf Monday morning, Miley-Dyer put the Cascais Women's Pro and EDP Billabong Pro Cascais contests on hold until the afternoon. The next call was set for 3 p.m. at Carcavelos.
"We're down here at Carcavelos this morning and it is actually still really small," said Miley-Dyer. "Having said that, we're going to come back. The next call is 3'o'clock. Hopefully we'll be able to see those forerunner of this new swell. It may not happen, but we're going to have a look."
There are still four heats left of Round Four in the EDP Billabong Pro, a men's Qualifying Series 10,000-level event, while the Cascais Women's Pro, Championship Tour stop No. 8, will come back with the Quarterfinals. For the men, the event is critical in terms of qualification campaigns for the 2018 CT. For the women, Cascais is pivotal in the World Title race, in which just two more events, in France and Maui, will determine the 2017 champion.
